Two Sided Quilts of Connie Harris Farrington

Two Sided Quilts of Connie Harris Farrington

Pop-up exhibit: November 16th to November 18th, 2023

Many of these 18 whimsical quilts created over the last 30 years focus on women of all classes and time periods—their hopes, their accomplishments, and their complaints. Sometimes humorous, sometimes serious, Connie provides the viewer with a thought-provoking array of colorful words and images using fabric, thread, and ink.

Connie Harris Farrington has been quilting for more than 50 years. Her colorful and innovative approach has won her more than 100 awards and prizes in national and international competitions, and her creations have been published in a number of magazines.

Connie is retired from DuPont Medical Instruments, is a graduate of Green Mountain College, Syracuse University, and Yale Divinity School. She lives in Queensbury, NY, where she has published several genealogies and tends a large organic vegetable garden.
