The Teen Center is offering limited programs. Visit our online calendar and follow us on Facebook for details.

Welcome to the Teen Center!

If you are between the ages of 13 and 19, this is the place to socialize, do homework, and find books or other materials. If you have a library card in good standing, it’s also a place to use the Internet.

Questions? Call the Teen Center at 792.6508 ext. 7

Tuesdays, 4:30-5pm: Crafting with Sarabeth
Crafting and socializing for anyone aged 13-19. No artistic ability is required and there's no need to register or bring anything with you. Just stop in the Teen Center and we'll teach you to make something beautiful to keep forever (or not). Different projects every week.

Wednesdays, 6-8: Drop-In Cards Night
Interested in dueling games like Yu-Gi-Oh or Magic? Stop by the Teen Center Wednesday nights to compete against other teens or learn to play. An expert volunteer is on hand to teach new players--use Teen Center decks or bring your own. PLUS--A tournament and pizza party is held the last Wednesday of every month! PIZZA!

Thursdays, 6pm: Reduced Teen Group
A social club for teens and our most popular, most offbeat, and most varied weekly group. The only requirements are that you be between the ages of 13-19 and respect your fellow members. We do cosplay, booktalks, fieldtrips, play acting games, put on plays and more.

Saturdays, 10am-around 1pm: Dungeons & Dragons
A friendly, ongoing adventure campaign for teens, tweens, and adults that meets every week in the Crandall Room to play version 3.5 in the classic world of Greyhawk. New players of all experience levels are welcome, but all new players must expect to attend three full, consecutive sessions as an observer or random NPC before their formal introduction as a new character. This is the perfect place for a brand new player to learn the game and we'll provide everything you need. Call the Teen Center if you have more questions.
