Join instructor Alexander Grandy, Folklife Center librarian Kevin Rogan, and Children's Department library assistant Emma Rogan for our series of free ukulele classes, and see for yourself why the joyful Hawaiian instrument's popularity is skyrocketing worldwide! Ukuleles are available for anyone who needs to borrow one. Please register with Kevin Rogan (krogan@sals.edu) in advance and plan on attending all classes. 

We are currently offering beginner (2-3 PM) and intermediate/advanced (3-4 PM) sessions in the library's Community Room on the following dates in 2025:

December 12, December 19. 

A new round of classes will begin in 2026, and meet on these dates:

January 9, January 23, February 13, February 27, March 13, March 27, April 10, April 24, May 8, May 22, June 12, June 26, July 10, July 24, August 7, August 21, September 11, September 25, October 9, October 30, November 13, November 20, December 11, December 18.
