Summer Reading 2024

July 1 - September 6

The 2024 Summer Reading Program, “Adventure Begins at Your Library” runs from July 1st through Labor Day and has challenges for all ages, infant through adult.  Participants can read and complete activities to earn badges and prizes! Join by visiting Beanstack at https://crandalllibrary.beanstack.org and can complete the program anytime during the summer. 

Summer Reading Kick-Off Party
Tuesday, July 2 • 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. in City Park
Join us to kick off summer reading with games, music, snacks, inflatable obstacle course, and more! For kids of all ages, no sign up required.

Kids can read or listen to stories and complete activities to earn badges and fabulous prizes! Reach milestones to earn stickers, ice cream coupons, and free books. Schedule of Summer programs for kids.

Teens can talk about books and claim some loot! Visit the Teen Center and talk about your reading to claim instant mini-prizes all summer long, or log reading in Beanstack to enter our end-of-summer raffles.

Adults are invited to participate in a summer reading program that combines reading (in any format), library programming and an array of independent adventures. Log books and completed activities in Beanstack to earn raffle tickets for prizes.

This year, we are offering an Adventures in Wellness program for adults as part of the Summer Reading Program. Try out a selection of wellness offerings and see what works for you! Each program is open for registration 2 weeks prior to its date. Adventures in Wellness calendar
