Welcome to the Crandall Public Library online!

Welcome to the Crandall Public Library online! This is your library. It's strengths, services and programs reflect the commitment made by the residents of the municipalities that comprise the Crandall Public Library District: the Towns of Queensbury and Moreau and the City of Glens Falls. The library has operated continuously since 1893. In 1965, over thirty years ago, the library's charter changed to include the towns of Queensbury and Moreau. In 1958, Crandall Public Library became the Central Reference Library of the Southern Adirondack Library System. New York State provides special funding for Crandall Public Library to serve the residents of Warren, Washington, Saratoga and Hamilton counties.

In 1992, the voters of the three municipalities approved the Crandall Public Library district and its first budget. The district is one of the strongest regional examples of intergovernmental cooperation.

Customer service is a major goal of the Crandall Public Library staff and trustees. We hope you have a very positive experience using the diverse collections, services and programs that the library offers. Let us know your concerns and suggestions so we can improve our response to your needs. The library trustees and staff are proud of the overall program of Crandall Public Library. Your support of the library contributes to the future growth of the library.
