Request for Proposal for Professional Auditing Services

The Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls, NY is soliciting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit the Library’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2015 with the option of auditing the Library’s financial statements for the three subsequent years. The library is a non-profit.

The primary source of funding for the Library is a special taxing district composed of The City of Glens Falls, The Town of Moreau, and The Town of Queensbury. The proposed 2016 budget for the Library is $4.43 million. A copy of the Library’s most recent audited financial statements is available upon request.

Qualified firms interested in submitting a proposal should obtain a Request for Proposal letter from Crandall Public Library, 251 Glen Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801 beginning Thursday, October 1, 2015. Please contact Linda Webb at (518-792-6508 x 285), or (lwebb@sals.edu).

Bids received after this time will not be accepted and returned to Bidder unopened. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud after specified receipt time in the Administrative level (3rd Floor) of the Library. All interested parties are invited to attend.
